Vivi’s USB Passthrough feature can be used to wirelessly access USB devices (such as cameras and microphones) that are connected to the Vivi box.

This feature requires updates to the Vivi app and the Vivi hardware (Version 3.2.0 or newer). If it is not available, ensure your Vivi app is up-to-date (you can check your app version by clicking on the Settings cog in the upper-right corner of the app. The Vivi Version will be displayed in the bottom-left of the pop-up). If still not available, speak to your IT Administrator. |
To use a USB device connected to the Vivi box, select the USB symbol in the upper-right corner when connected to a room in the Vivi app.
You may be presented with a loading screen. Allow the devices to load.
Once loaded, connect to a USB device by selecting Connect.
Once connected, the circle next to the device name will turn green. It can now be used on your computer. For example, the webcam in the images could now be used in video conferencing software (eg. Zoom).
