This article outlines the display aspect ratios and resolutions supported by the device, including both standard and non-standard formats. It also explains what to expect if your display uses a non-standard ratio.

Note

For 16:10 or 4:3 formats, both the source device and the display must be configured to the same aspect ratio to ensure proper output.


Mismatched Aspect Ratios on the Source Device

If your display panel uses a Non-standard aspect ratio, you may see black bars on the screen:

  • Vertical black bars – when the panel is in landscape mode and the content ratio is narrower than the display.

  • Horizontal black bars – when the panel is in portrait mode or the content ratio is wider than the display.

This behavior is expected; it preserves correct proportions and prevents image stretching or distortion.
