Vivi Interactive Launcher

Vivi Interactive Launcher is a touch-based menu that appears on the left hand corner of the classroom display when a room session is active. It provides teachers with quick access to key features directly on HID compatible touch displays, without needing to return to their client device.

📘 The options available in Vivi Interactive launcher will change dynamically based on the features currently in use from the Vivi Client.

Prerequisites

Before enabling Vivi Interactive launcher, ensure the following requirements are met:

USB Connection

 

A standard USB connection is required between the display and the Vivi device. Some panels only support touch input from a specific port. For the Vivi device, use the first blue USB port. This applies to any HID compliant interactive display, including Interactive Flat Panels (IFP) and Smart Projectors.

New Whiteboard Enabled

Please make sure New Whiteboard is enabled for Organisation and specified room.

How to Enable Vivi Interactive

Vivi Interactive is enabled per room via the Features section in the Vivi Management Console.

  1. Log in to the Vivi Management Console

  2. Navigate to Organisation → Features

  3. Scroll down to locate Enable Vivi Interactive

  4. Toggle the setting to enable it

  5. Navigate to the specific Room you would like to enable Vivi Interactive for. Under Details tab

  6. Enable Vivi Interactive for the selected room

  7. Click Save Changes

Once a Presenter joins the room, and it is enabled, you will see the Vivi Interactive launcher which can be tapped on the screen directly. The Vivi Interactive Launcher is highlighted in the screenshot below.

📘 Vivi Interactive can be enabled for individual rooms only. Repeat the above steps for each room where Vivi Interactive is required.
