Enable Whiteboard in Rooms

To enable the new Vivi Whiteboard experience in your rooms, there are two steps required:

1. Enable the Whiteboard Applet for your organisation

2. Configure the Applet to enable the whiteboard at the location and room level

Step 1 — Enable the Whiteboard Applet

1. Log in to the Vivi Management Console

2. Navigate to Organisation → Features

3. Scroll down to locate the Enable Whiteboard Applet option

4. Toggle the setting to enable it

📘 This step must be completed before configuring the whiteboard at the location or room level.

Step 2 — Configure the Whiteboard Applet

1. In the left navigation, under Organisation click on Configure Applets

2. You will see a list of available applets. Locate and click on Whiteboard

📘 The Rooms column will display how many rooms currently have the whiteboard enabled.

Step 3 — Configure the Whiteboard Applet

Once inside the Whiteboard applet, you have two options:

Option A — Enable for All Rooms

1. Check the Enable Applet checkbox

2. Check the Enable for All Rooms checkbox

3. This will enable the whiteboard across all rooms within your active locations

4. Click Save Changes

Option B — Enable for Specific Locations & Rooms

1. Check the Enable Applet checkbox

2. Under Locations, select the location(s) you want to enable the whiteboard for

3. Use Select all / none or search for a specific location using the search bar

4. Navigate to the Rooms tab to select the specific rooms within the chosen location

5. Click Save Changes

📘 You can enable the whiteboard for multiple locations simultaneously by selecting more than one location from the list.
