New Whiteboard

Vivi Whiteboard is an interactive digital canvas built into the Vivi platform, enabling teachers to draw, annotate, and collaborate in real time directly on their classroom display. With the latest release, the whiteboard now runs on the Vivi Box rather than the client device , cutting latency by half and delivering a faster, more responsive experience across all rooms.

This release introduces a redesigned whiteboard. Boards now auto-save and stay with teachers across rooms and sessions, multiple objects can be selected and transformed as a group, the eraser now supports partial erase for the pen and highlighter strokes, the background library has new instructional templates, and there are six text fonts to choose from.

Existing favourites such as custom backgrounds with JPG and PDF upload have been streamlined and also autosave across sessions now.

Prerequisites

Before enabling Vivi Whiteboard, ensure the following requirements are met:

Hardware Requirements

📘 If you are only using the whiteboard from your laptop or client device, no additional hardware setup is needed.

Supported Platforms

📘 Platforms marked as Coming Soon are currently being developed and tested and are not yet available to customers. No action is required , updates will be delivered automatically upon release.
