Vivi Receiver Release 3.7.5 / App Release 3.7.X (Optional)

Release 3.7.5 replaces version 3.7.4 for the box firmware and the Vivi app on iOS to address an issue. Version 3.7.4 remains the latest for all other platforms until the next update.

What’s changed?

  • Updated HDMI CEC configuration for backwards compatibility.

  • Fixed an issue related to HDMI renegotiation, preventing unwanted resolution changes.

  • Resolved an issue where iOS users on versions older than iOS 17 were unable to use the Vivi app.

  • WebRTC Improvements:

    • Added smoothness settings to WebRTC streaming for users and IT admins to adjust their screen share experience.

    • Increased WebRTC streaming resolution to 1080p with full screen sharing on the Vivi web app and the desktop apps on MacOS, Windows and Linux.

    • WebRTC will become the default streaming method on ChromeOS version 123 and higher. Support for Native streaming will be deprecated on these ChromeOS versions.

    • Fixed issues related to static Slides screen share experience on the web app and ChromeOS, where change in static slides were delayed to reflect on the Vivi enabled displays.

  • ClickView Content Integration APIs are now compatible with organisational Proxy settings.

  • Applied other bug fixes and enhancements to Video announcements feature.

Who does this affect?

All users using WebRTC streaming, iOS users on versions earlier than iOS 17, and/or any user experiencing resolution issues.

Who should update to this release?

All iOS users, users using WebRTC streaming or experiencing unwanted resolution changes are encouraged to update.

We always recommend that you test new releases in your environment before rolling out organization wide.
