As part of Google's phase-out of Chrome Apps, we are transitioning from a ChromeOS app to a Progressive Web App (PWA). This change is in line with Google's move towards web applications. (For more information, please refer to Google’s documentation: Google’s migration guide)

Starting with Chrome version 112, Chrome Apps will no longer be supported on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Although Enterprise and Education users will still have access until at least January 2025, we recommend switching to our PWA for a more future-proof experience.

The instructions below will guide you through the steps to transition from the ChromeOS app to the PWA.

  1. Log in to your Google Workspaces Admin console as an Administrator

  2. Navigate to Devices > Chrome > ‘Apps & extensions’
