Available to the Signage Admin role (and above), Digital Signage Templates allow schools to create consistent and polished signage content for displays across school communities. Templates can be added to new or existing playlists. All templates can be displayed in landscape or portrait mode to fully optimise all screen orientations.
The latest 3.4 release includes 11 new templates tailored for campus communications: Timetable Changes, Back to School, General Announcement, Student Celebration, Simple Celebration, Event, Weekly Events, Upcoming Events, Simple Announcement, Class Schedule, Classroom Changes.
To add a template:
Edit a playlist in Vivi Central
Choose Templates on the top left
Select a template
Press “Okay” to open the Template Editor
In the Template Editor, you can modify text, background colours, and images in the template to design your content for Digital Signage.
You can press preview to see a preview of your current design.
You can press the portrait/landscape switcher to view your design in a different layout.
You can press save to save your template settings and return to Digital Signage.
When modifying a playlist, a user is able to add multiple instances of the same template, with different configurations.
