Vivi can integrate with ClassLink SSO service. Once the set up is complete, users should either be able to launch Vivi from their ClassLink’s Launchpad or even via an embedded login screen within the Vivi app using their ClassLink credentials.

Please note: Enabling ClassLink authentication will disable Vivi standard authentication.

Step 1

Add Vivi on ClassLink:

  • Add “Vivi” from the list of applications available to your app library.

  • Make Vivi available for various user groups on ClassLink Launchpad. For more on this, you can reach out to your ClassLink support channel.

Step 2

Setting up Vivi Central:

  • Change the Authentication Type to “ClassLink” and provide “ClassLink Tenant ID” in the relevant field.

  • Match user ClassLink user roles to the desired Vivi roles for the right access. Roles are case sensitive. Make sure to keep the names exactly the same while matching.

 

Step 3

Once the above two set up is complete, users should be able to login to Vivi using their ClassLink SSO.

Login from ClassLink Launchpad: Once the Vivi app has been added to the Launchpad for all identified users, they can launch the Vivi app by clicking on Vivi icon from their dashboard.

Login from Vivi Browser App (PWA) Login interface: Once the ClassLink SSO is set up, and users open the Vivi browser app (http://app.vivi.io ) and select the right organisation to login, a pop-up will appear for the ClassLink SSO login screen.

Login from Vivi Desktop App Login interface: Once the ClassLink SSO is set up, and users open their Vivi app and select the right organisation to login, they will be taken to ClassLink SSO login screen.
