Destinations

A destination is one or more of rooms where media or playlists are to be played.

For example, if there is a Year 7 school camp coming up and you want to remind students of the due date for fees, you can create a destination for Year 7 classrooms. This way only the Year 7 classroom Displays will show the announcement.

To view existing signage groups, under the "Signage" link in Vivi Central, select the “Destinations" link.

To view the Destinations page in Vivi Central, expand the Signage menu in Vivi Central and click on Destinations.

Creating a New Destination

• Under the "Signage" link menu in Vivi Central, select the "Destinations" link.

• Click "+ Create Destination".

• Enter the name of for the destination and select the rooms/locations from the collapsible list that are to be included. Use the blue plus symbols to add the selected rooms/locations to the "New Destinations" box on the right.

• Click on "Create Destination" to save the changes.

Modify a destination

• Under the "Signage" link in Vivi Central, select the "Destinations" link. This will display a list of destinations.

• To change the name of the destination, click "Pen icon" under the rename column. Change the name and click "Rename".

• Click on the name of the destination to modify. This will load the details.

• To modify the rooms/locations in the group, click the "Edit Rooms & Locations" button. A modal will open up with a list of the rooms/locations in the group will be shown.

  • Click "Edit Rooms & Locations".

  • Adjust the list as required.

  • Click "Save Destination" to save the changes.

• click Continue.

...

• Choose the Locations and Rooms to add to the destination. These can be added by clicking the blue plus symbols.

• The relationship between the locations and rooms are displayed, with each room appearing under its specified location.

• Selecting a location will add all rooms within this location to the Destination.

• You can also select one or multiple rooms under a location to be added to the Destination

• Once you have added all the required Locations and Rooms, click Create Destination.

Modifying a Destination

• Under the Signage menu in Vivi Central, select Destinations. This will display the list of destinations

• You can change a destination's name by selecting the rename icon next to the destination.

• To make changes to a destination, click on the destination name. This will bring up the destination's information, with the Rooms & Locations tab being the default view.

• To modify the Locations and Rooms included in the destination, click the Edit Rooms & Locations button. This will bring up the Locations and Room window where you can adjust as required.

• Click Save Destination to save the changes.

Deleting a Destination

• Under the "Signage" link menu in Vivi Central, select the "Destinations" link. This will display a the list of destinationsDestinations.

• Find the destination that is to be deleted and To delete a Destination click the " red trash" button bin icon next to the corresponding groupDestination.
