Users Granting signage permissions enables you to authorise users to manage and update the content of signage destinations or playlists.

Delegating this access is not required for users who are assigned the Signage Admin or IT Admin role, as they will already have full access to signage features within across your organisation.However you can also delegate users to have access only to specific signage destinations or playlists.

Assigning users to a Destination

  • Under the Signage menu in Vivi Central, select Destinations.

  • Select the name of the Destination.

  • Select Go to the “Permissions” Permissions tab.

  • To Click the + button to add the user click the “+” blue button.

Assign users to a Signage Playlist

  • Select the signage playlistUnder the Signage menu in Vivi Central, select Playlists.

  • Select the “Permissions” the name of the Playlist

  • Go to the Permissions tab.Search a user from

  • Search the users name in the search bar.

  • To add another user click the “+” blue button.

  • When all required users have been selected, click the “Submit” button

Assign users to a Media Folder

To allow users without the Signage Admin role to upload Media Items they will need to be granted access to a Media Folder. This can be done following the below steps:

  • In Vivi Central select Media

  • Select the name of an existing playlist or create a new playlist with the Create Folder option.

  • Once in the folder select Edit Permissions

  • Select Add Permission

  • Search the users name in the search bar

  • Click the Submit button to add the user to the permissions list for the media folder
