Enabling ClickView Integration with Vivi

Sign into ClickView with an Administrator account: https://www.clickview.net/

The Vivi integration can be enabled in your ClickView account under Settings

cog icon to connect your Vivi account to ClickView.

Sign-in with your Vivi credentials to link your Vivi and ClickView accounts. Your Vivi account must have IT Admin access to your Vivi organisation.

Once you click on “Connect to Vivi”, you will be taken to Vivi Central page to login and grant permission.

If you are already logged in to Vivi Central as IT admin, you will be asked to confirm the integration using the account you are already logged in with.

Your ClickView and Vivi accounts are now successfully connected.

By default this integration allows you to link a ClickView account with a single Vivi Organisation.

If you use the same ClickView account shared across multiple organisations, please contact the Vivi Support Team and we can assist with this configuration.

If you're not logged in to Vivi Central, you'll be prompted to enter the email address you wish to use for integration. Depending on your email, you'll then be asked to log in to your respective organisation.

After selecting your organisation and submitting, you will be directed to your organisation's specific login page.

If your organisation uses a single sign-on (SSO) service, you will be redirected to the relevant SSO page for login and authentication.

Please be aware that this will cause all Vivi devices to switch over to using the latest version of ClickView. Devices registered using ClickView Online will no longer work from the ClickView Online website. Only proceed down this route if you are no longer using ClickView Online and have tested the new integration using a sample of devices.

How to play ClickView videos through Vivi

Once the integration has been enabled users will be able to play ClickView videos via Vivi.

When connected to a room, Select Play Content and click the orange ClickView button. This will place the device into ClickView mode making it available for casting.

After connecting to Vivi, teachers will be able to cast videos and clips to any Vivi devices configured in your school by pressing the ‘cast’ icon in the player.

Users can then navigate the ClickView webpage to find the video content they would like to playback.

The Vivi room will appear and can be selected under the cast menu on the ClickView video.

Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble casting videos from the latest version of ClickView to your Vivi device, please check the following:

  • Make sure that you have whitelisted inbound and outbound traffic to wss://*.vivi.io

  • Make sure that the device you are attempting to cast to is connected to the internet, and that the associated room has enabled the Content Integration API Override toggle in Vivi Central.
