The Share Window feature allows teacher to share individual windows from their device to the classroom display instead of their entire screen. This allows for multitasking by giving the ability to share one window while also being able to have other windows open on the teacher’s device without also sharing these (as would happen in Share Screen).
This feature requires updates to the Vivi app and the Vivi hardware (Version 3.9.2 or newer). If the Share Window icon is not available, ensure your Vivi app is up-to-date (you can check your app version by clicking on the Settings cog in the upper-right corner of the app. The Vivi Version will be displayed in the bottom-left of the pop-up). If still not available, speak to your IT Administrator.
To share an individual window, connect to a room and select the Share Window button.
In the pop-up, select the window to be shared then click Share Window.
Once sharing begins, Vivi will minimise to the floating toolbar (refer to 3.3 Floating Toolbar and Vivi Controls for further information).
