The following media types are supported:

  • Images.

  • Videos.

  • Audio

  • Video links for Internet-based videos

  • Website URLs

Important things to know about media

  • A maximum of 20GB of content can be uploaded.

  • Each Vivi Box can store 2.5GB of content at a time. Each Box will sync content for active Digital Signage schedules, and only holds the required media.

  • Supported image types are: jpg, jpeg, gif (non-animated), png.

  • Supported video types are: avi, flv, mkv, mov, mp4, m4v, wmv, asf.

  • Supported audio types are: mp3, wav, wma, m4a.

  • Image sizes must be exactly 1920x1080. Images will be modified on upload to fit this size.

  • Maximum image size is 10MB.

  • Maximum video size is 500MB. This applies to local video files, not to Internet video file links.

  • Maximum audio file size is 20MB.


Media can be added to Vivi Central using:

  1. A file from your computer

  2. Website URL

  3. Video link for Internet-based videos

To add media to Vivi Central:

  • Select the "Media" link in Vivi Central.

  • Click on "Add Media" and choose the type of media to be created.

  • Follow the on-screen prompts.
