Each emergency type has a default image that is displayed when the emergency is triggered. This image can be customised to suit your organisations needs.

It is also possible to set a different image to be displayed for particular rooms and locations. For example, A room or location can have an image directing people to a specific place in the case of an evacuation.

Changing a default alert image.

  • Under the Emergencies section in Vivi Central, select the Emergency Types link - This will list the current emergency types configured for your organisation.

  • Click on the name of the Emergency type you wish to change the image for. This will load the details screen for that emergency type.

  • Click Edit

  • Click Add Image. This will allow you to upload a new image which will be become the ‘default’ image for the emergency type.

Assigning Alert Images to a Room or Location

Images can be assigned to a specific room or location so they are displayed instead of the default image when the Emergency is triggered.

  • Under the Emergencies section in Vivi Central, select the Emergency Types link - This will list the current emergency types configured for your organisation.

  • Click on the name of the Emergency type you wish to change the image for.

  • Select the Alert Image Assignments tab.

  • Select Assign Alert Image - This will open a new window prompting you for the Location and Room to assign the new image to.

  • Select Add Image to upload the new Image.

  • Select Assign Alert Image to save your changes.
