Vivi Display Activation
Simplified Activation streamlines the setup process for devices running the Vivi Display App and is automatically available to all organizations with access to Virtual Devices and full access to a Vivi account.
Organizations deploying the Vivi Display App across multiple devices can leverage this process to efficiently activate and configure the application within their environment.
By using pre-configured "Profiles," users with the appropriate permissions can activate, configure, and deploy the Vivi Display App with minimal effort. Since this feature is accessible to Guest Code accounts, larger organizations can rely on external staff to perform activations without requiring additional access credentials.

What do I need for Simplified Activation?
Vivi Display installed on your panel/tv
Client version 3.9.4
Who can access it?
IT admins and users assigned an activation Profile from Vivi Central.
Where can I access it?
In Vivi Central under Installation → Profiles on the left-hand pane
How do I set Activation Profiles for Simplified Activation?
Go to Installations>Profiles>Create Profile and select “Activation” in the Profile type while creating a new Profile. This will create a new Activation Profile with some default options.
Room Configuration options are in line with Installation options, where you can select one of the four available options, new room, existing room, suggest name with location, and suggest name without location.
Once these Profiles are configured, IT admins canassign them to various installers by adding new users from New Activation Profile → Users tab shown here:
How do I activate Vivi Display?
Once the activation Profiles have been set up, you can start your workflow by by clicking the router icon in the client here (version 3.9.4 or above):
When you login to the Vivi App as an installer, you will see the Activation Profiles assigned to you.
When you login as IT Admin, you will see all the Activation Profiles in the app.
Once you select a Profile, you will be asked to enter a 4-digit code that is shown on your Vivi Display
If the Profile is not set for Auto-approval on Vivi Central, the display will be pending on approval and you will get similar messaging on the app:

If the Profile is set for Auto-approval on Vivi Central, the display will be activated immediately and you will get similar messaging on the app:
Depending on your Profile configuration, if it allows for allocation of the display to an existing room and location, you will be allowed to do a selection accordingly:
Benefits
Organizations looking to deploy Vivi Display across their fleet, can use simplified activation to get the application running in their environment.
Since this feature is also available to Guests, external/temporary staff can be allowed to activate the product without additional access.
This will be available to all organizations with access to Virtual devices by default, including Trial organizations.
