Adding Images

  • Select the "Media" link in Vivi Central.

  • Click on "Add Media" and choose "Add image".

  • Select the type of image that is being uploaded. Options are "Splash and emergencies", “Splash and emergencies (Legacy)” or "Signage". Details on the recommended resolution and resizing options for each image type can be found at the bottom of this page.

  • Choose the file or drag and drop the file into the drag and drop window.

  • Click "Submit" to upload the image.

 

Splash and emergencies

  • The recommended resolution for Splash and emergency images is 1920x1080

  • For images not at the recommended resolution choose to “Fit to screen” or “Add black borders”

Splash and emergencies (Legacy)

Vivi boxes running firmware prior to 3.7.0 use the legacy info bar and splash sizing

  • The recommended resolution for Splash and emergency (Legacy) images is 1920x840

  • For images not at the recommended resolution choose to “Fit to screen” or “Add black borders”

  • The recommended resolution for Splash and emergency images is 1920x1080 for landscape and 1080x1920 for portrait.

  • For images not at the recommended resolution choose to “Fit to screen”, “Add black borders” or “Top left”
