Clever

Vivi can integrate with Clever SSO. Once the set up is complete, users can either launch Vivi from their Clever Dashboard or can access Vivi via an embedded login screen within the Vivi app using their Clever credentials.

Please note: Enabling Clever authentication will disable Vivi standard authentication.

To use Clever with Vivi you will need to:

Step 1

Request for invite from Vivi to use Clever:

You will need to raise a ticket with Vivi support and include your “Clever District ID” and request to change the authentication type to “Clever”.
Vivi Support will invite your schools to login to Vivi using Clever SSO.
Once you accept the invite will Vivi will be available in your list of applications to be added for users across your school. For more details steps on how to use Clever portal, please refer Clever Academy or reach out to your Clever support channel.

Step 2

Setting up Vivi Central:

Change the Authentication Type to “Clever” and provide “Clever District ID” in the relevant field.

Match user Clever user roles to the desired Vivi roles for the right access. Roles are case sensitive. Make sure to keep the names exactly the same while matching.

Step 3

Once set up is complete as above, users can login to Vivi using their Clever SSO.

Login from Clever Dashboard: Once the Vivi app has been added to the Dashboard for all identified users, they can launch the Vivi app by clicking on Vivi icon from their dashboard.

Login from Vivi Browser App (PWA) Login interface: Once the Clever SSO is set up, and users open the Vivi browser app (http://app.vivi.io ), select the right organisation to login, and choose Log In, a pop-up will appear for the Clever SSO login screen.

Login from Vivi Desktop App Login interface: Once the Clever SSO is set up, and users open their Vivi app, select the right organisation to login, and choose Log In, they will be taken to Clever SSO login screen.
